New, challenging yet FUN adventure race taking place at Kinnegar, Holywood. Throughout the 6K run, walk or jog you will be expected to travel over varying terrains such as scrub, sand, shingle and sea... and negotiate quite a few awkward man made and natural obstacles!
You can 'do' the whole event or compete in a 3 person relay team with each member competing in one section of the race.

Starting at Carrick Little Car Park, South East of the Mourne Mountains, this route will take us up and over Slieve Binnian, Cove Mountain, Slieve Beg, Slieve Commedagh, Slieve Donard and Rock Mountain before returning through the Annalong Valley to the car park.
This is a very demanding walk, which requires a good level of fitness and stamina, as the terrain can be very uneven at times and the gradient quite steep.

The ‘Ben’ sits majestically at the head of Loch Linnhe, its presence dominating the landscape from all corners of Fort William and Lochaber. At 4,408ft / 1,344m, there are spectacular views over the Western Isles of Scotland.
Climb the 4,408ft of Ben Nevis, UK's highest mountain,amongst some of the most beautiful and dramatic scenery in the world, all under the supervision of highly trained mountain guides.
Your travel to Fortwilliam via ferry and coach, 2nights twin sharing accommodation in the Ben Nevis Hotel and meals at hotel; are included in your minimum sponsorship.

Co-operation Ireland Maracycle |

The popular cross border bike ride, Maracycle, takes place over the weekend of 29 & 30 June. The 2 day 220 mile challenge between Belfast and Dublin If you are not able for the full challenge you can take on one of the shorter distances from Belfast to Newry, Newry to Dublin, Dublin to Newry or Newry to Belfast or a one way only Belfast to Dublin or Dublin to Belfast. The highlight of the weekend will see cyclists from most counties in Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland join with overseas visitors at Dublin City University on the Saturday night for a celebration of their achievements.

Deep RiverRock Belfast City Half Marathon 2013 |

Cancer Focus Northern Ireland is the official charity partner for the Deep RiverRock Belfast City Half Marathon 2013.
The organisers are delighted to announce that they will be staging the first, ever Deep RiverRock Belfast City Half Marathon in Belfast on Sunday 22nd September 2013
The route will start at the City Hall and finish at the new Mary Peters Track. Full details will be released over the next few weeks.
There will also be a Fun Run event.
We are urging runners, wheelchair participants, fun runners and walkers to show their support for Cancer Focus, sign up early and start training.
All the sponsorship money raised from the prestigious flagship event stays in Northern Ireland and will go towards the charity’s Men’s Health Campaign.
Please help us make 2013 the year we help more men with cancer.

Unite & Bike Against Cancer - Open Challenge |

This spectacular 400km 5-day cycle challenge will see you cycle from the lower slopes of Mount Kilimanjaro, through both Tarangire and Lake Manyara National Parks which boasts some of this planet's most amazing wildlife, to eventually finish at the jaw-dropping Ngorongoro Crater Reserve.
This challenge is suitable for people of all ages (over 18) with a sense of adventure and a good level of fitness. Good quality mountain bikes will be provided.
Registration is through Global Adventure Challenge - please make sure that you choose Cancer Focus Northern Ireland when asked which charity you wish to support!
