This is a very demanding walk, which requires a good level of fitness and stamina, as the terrain can be very uneven at times and the gradient quite steep.

Kilimanjaro Challenge Trek

Kilimanjaro Challenge Trek

Dates Available
13 Oct 2014

13th - 24th October 2014

Standing at an impressive 5,895m, Mount Kilimanjaro is one of Africa's best sights, the world's highest free standing mountain and also, one of the world's 7 highest continental summits.

Walking the less travelled Machame Route, our path takes us from the base of this huge dormant volcano, over moorland and rocky trails to the glaciers at the summitt. This route gives trekkers the most intoxicating views and as it's slightly longer, it allows greater time for acclimatisation, thus increasing the chances of summitt success.

Whilst this trek is suitable for people of all ages with a great sense of adventure, it will be very challenging and requires a good level of fitness and training.

You will be trekking for 7 days over various terrain in varying weather conditions.
